Togher Construction Limited operates in the construction and civil engineering sector. The Company provides groundwork services, civil engineering services and specialist reinforced concrete structures including concrete frames.
Togher Construction Limited considers that environmental management and the prevention of pollution is an integral part of its business and aims to achieve continuous improvement in environmental management and performance by:
- Keeping abreast of and complying with legislation, regulations and codes of practice on environmental matters relevant to our activities.
- Reducing the environmental impacts of our activities by identification of significant environmental impacts and adopting reasonable controls.
- Setting annual environmental objectives and targets, and monitoring performance against these objectives and targets.
- Making use of opportunities to minimise waste and to reuse or recycle materials.
- Ensuring that during groundwork operations, soil movements and stockpiling are undertaken in a manner so as to minimise adverse environmental impact.
- Communicating our environmental policies to the public, workforce and other interested parties.
- Providing adequate information, training and supervision to enable environmental impacts and opportunities to be identified, prioritised and managed effectively.
